Rick Gillespie, Senior Vice President, North America
Mr. Gillespie serves as Senior Vice President North America for REGENESIS and Land Science. In his role, Mr. Gillespie directs a team of technical sales consultants and engineers across North America providing industry-leading support to REGENESIS and Land Science customers. He has over 20 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry. Mr. Gillespie joined REGENESIS after a successful career as a Research Scientist at Battelle Memorial Institute. His work experience has been focused on innovative remediation technologies for the treatment of chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and metals in soils and groundwater. Mr. Gillespie was a co-author on the Multi-Site Air Sparging Design Paradigm. In addition, he was a contributor to the publication Principles and Practices of Enhanced Anaerobic Bioremediation of chlorinated Solvents. Mr. Gillespie earned his B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma.

Thomas Szocinski, Director of Vapor Intrusion
Thomas Szocinski is the Director of Vapor Intrusion of the Land Science® division of REGENESIS, Inc. In his role, Tom provides executive leadership, market strategy and sales support, while further strengthening relationships with state and federal regulators, applicators and environmental consultants. Tom is a nationally recognized vapor intrusion expert with over 14 years’ experience as an environmental scientist, focusing on vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation, remediation, site assessment, and Brownfield site management. He has served on both state and federal regulatory vapor intrusion review boards, assisting with development of vapor intrusion and mitigation guidance, regulations, and exposure criteria. He has designed and implemented numerous nationally recognized and award winning vapor mitigation systems across the United States for both private and government sites. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Tom enjoys the outdoors from hunting and fishing, to hiking and camping with his wife and children.

Hieu Nguyen, Senior Research Engineer
Hieu Nguyen is the Senior Research Engineer of the Land Science division of REGENESIS, Inc. In his role, Nguyen oversees product implementation at construction sites and provides technical support to regional and district managers as well as Land Science clients. Hieu offers over nine years of experience supporting Brownfield redevelopment project designs, specifications and installations across United States, Canada and Australia. He is also an active member of the ITRC Petroleum Vapor Intrusion task group, AICHE and ASTM D04 Asphalt Emulsions Tests and Specifications. Prior to joining Land Science, Hieu worked as a product manager and technical engineer for a leading spray-applied asphalt latex gas barrier manufacturer. Hieu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Hieu enjoys swimming, hiking, and doing his own research in his spare time.

Eric Maben, South Central District Manager
Eric Maben is the South Central District Manager of the Land Science division of REGENESIS, Inc, and is based in Austin, Texas. His role includes providing technical support in the design and installation of Geo-Seal and Retro-Coat vapor mitigation systems as well as educating environmental firms, regulatory agencies, and developers on advancements in vapor intrusion barrier technology, implementation, and quality control. Eric has a vast amount of hands-on and technical experience in the field of environmental remediation, having previously worked in the Remediation Services Division of REGENESIS, Inc. Eric has worked with many environmental firms and agencies to successfully push sites to reach closure. Eric received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Arizona. Having enjoyed his experience living abroad, Eric continues to practice his linguistic and culinary skills by traveling to foreign countries as often as he can.

Nick Mjolsness, Great Lakes District Manager
Nick Mjolsness is the Great Lakes District Manager of the Land Science division of REGENESIS, Inc. Nick’s role includes providing technical support in the design and installation of Geo-Seal and Retro-Coat vapor mitigation systems, and educating the environmental community on advancements in vapor intrusion barrier technology, implementation, and quality control by making presentations to environmental firms, regulatory agencies and developers. Nick is a technical sales expert with years of experience in vapor intrusion (VI) mitigation, specializing in assisting clients with solutions for the redevelopment of brownfield properties. Nick has been actively involved in the application of Geo-Seal, Vapor Vent and Retro-Coat on projects across the US and offers a high level of service and support to his clients. Nick earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. In his spare time, Nick enjoys traveling to different countries and states and camping when he has the time.

Ryan Miller, Northeast District Manager
Ryan Miller is the Northeast District Manager of the Land Science division of REGENESIS, Inc., and is based in northern New Jersey. Ryan’s role includes providing technical support in the design and installation of Geo-Seal and Retro-Coat vapor mitigation systems, and educating the environmental community on the advancements in vapor intrusion barrier technology, implementation, and quality control by making presentations to environmental firms, regulatory agencies, and developers. Ryan has extensive experience in the environmental consulting industry, most recently working as a New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) focusing on brownfield redevelopment projects and specializing in vapor intrusion mitigation. Ryan earned a MBA from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Siena College. During his free time, you will find Ryan on a golf course.

Jordan Kleine, Southeast District Manager
Jordan Kleine is the Southeast US District Manager of the Land Science division of REGENESIS, Inc., and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Jordan’s role includes providing technical support in the design and installation of Geo-Seal and Retro-Coat vapor mitigation systems, and educating the environmental community on advancements in vapor intrusion barrier technology, implementation, and quality control by making presentations to environmental firms, regulatory agencies and developers. Jordan has experience managing Brownfield and landfill redevelopment projects where vapor intrusion barriers and venting systems have been implemented throughout the United States. Jordan holds a Master of Public Affairs in Energy, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management with Honors from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys working out, boating, and traveling.

Zach Gilmer, P.E., Southwest District Technical Manager
Zach Gilmer is the Southwest District Manager of the Land Science division of REGENESIS, Inc. and is based in San Clemente, California. Zach’s role includes providing technical and budgetary support throughout the design and installation of Geo-Seal and Retro-Coat vapor mitigation systems. He promotes education within the environmental community on advancements in vapor intrusion barrier technology, implementation, and quality control by making presentations to environmental firms, regulatory agencies, applicators, and developers. He is a Registered Civil Engineer, in California with nearly 10 years of experience within the consulting, construction, and environmental industry. Prior to Land Science, he worked as a design-build engineer with specific experience in designing remediation and mitigation systems. He understands the value of a maintained schedule and budget, but also the quality of work. Zach earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Zach enjoys traveling to new places around the world, camping, and the outdoors.
